How do i release fuel injector from fuel rail on my wrangler 4.0?

There is a clip that slides in at the top of the injector, then hooks onto the rail. You should be able to just pull it out of the rail if you wiggle it. If not, use some needle nose to gently spread open the clip

How do i release fuel injector from fuel rail on my wrangler 4.0?

First.... remove the cube relay from the PCM and try to start the engine. With the relay removed; the fuel pump will not run and the fuel injectors will open depressurizing the fuel rail. Then look at the fuel injectors fuel rail; there will be a screw on cap that covers a test port resembling a bicycle tire air fill connection. Remove cap, place rag near the opening and push the center of the schraeder valve which will release some more fuel to depressurize the fuel rail further.
Then follow the explanation in Post 2.
NOTE: The O ring on the fuel injector can be less pliable that when first installed which can sometimes present a problem removing the fuel injector from the pocket on the fuel rail. A gentle wiggling up/down and left/right will assist in the injectors removal. Couldn't hurt to spray a little WD40 where the fuel injector is inserted into the fuel rail pocket to further assist in the fuel injector removal.
