@Rob5589 so I've got the old diff out now. I measured backlash before taking it out (measured .003 to .004 - pending I did it right). I've only got the two spacers, one on each side, so I'm assuming the shims are underneath the carrier bearings. I have new bearings and a set of shims. Question: Is it easier to just reinstall the existing shims and mess around with different sized spacers, or will that not get me close enough to the true backlash and pattern I need? I feel like I need a setup bearing for this because I really don't think this DTT will be the same fit as the open diff. Thank you for your time and sorry to
