So, i sat in a friend's 2004 TJ last weekend and realized that his seat was a lot different than mine (99 TJ) and much lower. I had never considered that my seats may not be stock until you guys recently helped me determine that my backseat was from a newer model TJ. So I pulled my seat apart and found a square tubing bracket, that added about 2.5" of height to the seat, between the seat and the slider/floor mount. I didn't like the seat height so I took out all of the extra brackets, but now my seat doesn't fit up to the slider/floor bracket. I'm 86% sure that the slider/floor bracket is stock based off comparison to the 99 TJ parts manual. So, does anyone recognize this seat and if it is out of a TJ or not?
