Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a 98 jeep wrangler TJ. I discovered that my passenger headlight did not work on low beam. It works on high and the driver side works on both high and low. I have switched the bulb with a working new one with no luck. In addition I checked the fuses and changed out the headlight switch and still nothing. I do not know what else to do. Please help.
Thanks, Mason

Bad wire or connection probably? Did you check the connection with a tester to see if any juice is going to it?

A simple ice pick style circuit tester with a light should do the trick. I believe one is ground, one is low beam, and one is high beam. Pull the plug on the other headlight that is working and test it to see which one is which.

First thing I would do is break out a simple test light. Ground it, and then with the low beams on, insert it into each wire on the working headlight to find the wire that is getting power (the test light will light up when you find it).

Once that's done, move to the passenger headlight and try the same wire on that side, and see if it lights up. If it doesn't, then you know it's a wiring issue. That's the first thing I would rule out.
