I have a 2002 Wrangler TJ that I had to get a replacement drivers side door for (rebuilding a rollover salvage). I found a door at a salvage yard in CO and got it home only to find that the door lock cylinder in the newly purchased door is smaller in diameter than the one in the 2002 door. I had already ripped off the door lock cylinder cap, and removed the tumbler portion from my door, and switched it for the one in the new door. The hole in the new door is smaller and would not accept the old lock cylinder, so I could not just switch for the original. So when I went looking for a door lock cylinder cap for the small cylinder, I find that I can only buy the larger one for the 2002 Jeep. I looked all over, and came up with nothing.
I took a chance and bought one for a 1990-1995 Chrysler Lebaron (mopar part # 5257148 ), and it dropped right on the small cylinder. So for anyone out there that has this issue, there you go.
