I am new to owning a jeep of any kind. I just got a 1998 wrangler TJ. So it idles and runs fine there are just a couple things. If it idles for an extended time it just dies. Then once in a while while you are driving the engine will just cut out for like a second. Acceleration does t seem to have anything to do with it. I have replaced the TPS it is still doing it. Again it runs totally smooth other than the long idle dying and the momentary (like for a second) loss of power while driving. It is so short when you realize you lost power while driving it has come back. Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
