Jeep TJ pinion angle

Hello, I just installed my SYE kit and set up my rear pinion angle. After all tightened up the rear pinion ended up being about 1 degree higher than my driveshaft angle. I was told that it should be about 1 degree lower, but being that it is one degree higher will it by okay, or should i readjust?

Only way to say for sure is drive it and find out.

It should be 1-2 degrees lower, but nothing is going to work better than you going out and driving it and letting us know how it went.

There's no perfect preset number.
Your goal is no vibrations.

Might also want to check if your axle is centered and pointed in the right direction.

Mine ended up being a little over 1 degree above. It's not as common but, I guess, some Jeeps just want to be different. If that is where you are vibration free then it's the right adjustment.
