Jeep won't start

I joined this forum because I am having a similar problems with my Jeep and wanted to ask if any good soul could help me.

I bought in September a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport with 37,000 miles and in pristine conditions. So far, I drove 2,000 miles with no problems. However, as it started to get cold here in Houston, the Jeep would not start in the morning. My first guess was: battery. I measured the voltage and it was fine: 12.4 V. I then paralleled the battery with my other car's battery with the engine running for a few minutes and... bingo... the Jeep started in the first try! I rushed to Walmart and purchased a brand new 660 CCA battery, as recommended for my Jeep's model. I installed the battery a couple of days ago, at 60 F, and the car run fine.

However, we got in the 40s yesterday and 30s today. Since then, the car is dead again! All electric functions work, I even hear a click probably from a relay when I try to start, but the starter doesn't seem to move at all. I know for a fact it is not the battery now, but can you or someone else in this forum help me to resolve this intermittent problem that only happens in cold weather? Thank you in advance!

How do you know that for sure?

Just because you put a new battery in there doesn't mean it can't go bad within a week. If your alternator was bad, or you had a drain on the system, your batter could be drained right now, which is causing it not to start.

First things first, check the voltage of your new battery and let us know what it is. That's the first step in diagnosing this issue.
