I wanted to name this thread “The Jeep Chris should have gotten advice from y’all about before buying” but I didn’t think it adhered to the “Member’s Rides” forum rules.
Well, this is my 1st Jeep and I’ve already screwed up. I went out with only the knowledge of what I figured my son wanted and now I’m paying for it, after paying for it. It came lifted at least 6”, on 35’s, kickin’ sound system, big bumper :headbang:..........and Dana 35/3.07 :bash: :imwithstupid:.
Rear axle went out 1st day, now I’m looking for a Dana 44 and will probably have to regear it along with the front. Can’t wait to get it done right and see my son out there having a ball in it though...

Welcome to the insanity!! lol

If you want to know the exact amount of lift it has, measure the springs on the Jeep (just the springs, not the isolators). Stock is 12" front and 8" rear.

Any question you have can be answered here, and there's no such thing as a dumb question! :)
