Most of the info I am finding says that this is OK, but I occasionally see a reference to a slightly larger pattern or lugs. Will the JL wheels work with my spidertrax 1.25 adapters? Also, would JLR takeoffs rub with only a 1.25 spacer? I believe they are 33x11.5 (285/70/17), and I think the wheels have 6.25" BS. This would be a total of 5" BS with an 11.5 wide tire, which I believe would be just a bit too much.

I believe JL wheels use the same pattern, but slightly larger diameter studs. You might look for lug nuts with a larger conical surface, but it could potentially work.
You might reach out to Spidertrax. They may be able to put JL studs in place of JK studs for extra security. They might even have additional thicknesses.
As for the total backspacing, that would be very close to a TJ Rubicon wheel (5 inches on 16x8). The JL wheel is 7.5” wide if I recall correctly, so the tire centerline would be 1/4” inboard of where it would be on a TJ Rubicon.
You might get some rubbing, but you might be able to washer it out. A 1.5” or slightly larger spacer would probably be a better choice.

I figured that would be the case. Could be something to address in the future and get me by for now. I'm starting to ease out of sticking with my 35x12.5 tires, especially with such expensive wheels on there that I could really give or take. They don't do much for me.

what lug nuts did you use. I have the same issue and my TJ lug nut cones don’t fit right? Dealer says they are not safe as only the very tip of the cone is contacting the wheel. After a real good torquing and then taking back off and looking at the the wheel, he is right.

Interesting. I've been running JT wheels and tires on the Spydertrax JK adapters for 9 months or so with no issues. My first rotation is coming up soon so I'll have to look closely. Not sure what lugs are on mine though since the PO had spacers with the stock LJ wheels.
Check the studs and lugs closely. Ive read other members having trouble. One guy lost a wheel on the freeway. Sorry i dont have a link. But i think u can replace studs and lugs iirc.
