Knocking/clunking sound

Well warrenty came through. They're replacing front drive shaft no charge. Warrenty company tried to make dealer use after market part. They refused so I'm getting a Mopar front drive shaft with an additional 2 yr warrenty. I'm a happy jeeeper!

So it was the front driveshaft? I suspect it was the u-joints?

Either way, that's awesome news. It's especially awesome that you're getting OE parts. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Good deal then! How is it you have a warranty on a TJ?

I bought it for $150 through the dealership. It's called ASC. I read through and it seemed like a good idea. You never know with these used car places. It covers the whole drive train, tranny, air, engine. It's only good for 6 months but it has already paid for itself

I will pay another 100 bucks for a full inspection before it expires and it will replace or repair any item that my mechanic can predict will failing. It doesn't fix brakes or seals but that's ok

For only $150 it sounds like that was a wise purchase!

When I bought mine from a dealer they wanted $2000 for the extended warranty, haha!
