Ok new to forum so please forgive me if I am asking a question that has been asked before. I just replaced all of my exterior bulbs with OEM style led bulbs and now when I turn my blinkers on with the headlights on they won't blink. They blink fine with the headlights off though. Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks in advance.

No I did not know I would need to install a new relay if I just changed bulbs.
It's a 98 TJ sport 4.0.
The headlight switch is the old push/pull style on the dash.

I'm not 100% but I think you might be able to just cut the relay under the dash. Stu offroad has a write up on it. Super easy and free.

More correctly, an EP26 LED which is specifically made for LED lights. But that's not all to making everything work properly. LED lights are not just light bulbs, they are also diodes. Light Emitting Diodes. That means current can flow through them in one direction but not the other. That can cause problems in some light circuits like the side markers. Depending on the position of the headlight switch, the current flows through the side marker lights in two different directions. One direction with the headlights on, the other direction with the headlights off. That means LED side marker lights won't work properly with the headlights on. You can wire a pair of "bridge rectifiers" into the side marker circuit to cause the current to flow the same direction every time as a work-around.
