It's not the heavy-duty springs that give a "firm" ride, it's the Nitro shocks you chose. Possibly made even firmer by the tires very likely having been overinflated. Are those 35's? What pressure is in them?
X2 to what Bob said. 26 psi when lightly loaded, 28 psi when your TJ is fully loaded.Jerry the tires are 33x12.5 I haven't checked the PSI yet what should they be at?

26-28 psi is a good starting point IMO.
You keep your Jeep fully loaded?I've lowered the PSI down to 28 from 33. I'll see how that goes on the drive to work tomorrow.
