Hey all, I'm new to the forum but have been viewing posts for a while now. My jeep is currently in the shop getting fully painted (I'll load up some pics once I get it back in 2 weeks). Once I get it back, I've been debating on the type of lift, as I would like to slam 35 MRTs on it, and I wanted to ask about the lift needed to accommodate that. I have the metalcloak arched fenders, so I was thinking a 3 inch lift would work? On another note, I also scrapped the center console as I'm going for the retro look with the trans shifter coming straight out of the floor. I'm excited to get it back so that I can work on the suspension.

MC’s don’t give nearly as much clearance as they advertise.

However, 3” suspension lift with a 1” body lift should work. Cycle your suspension, set your bumpstops, buy shocks that will salvage at least half of your travel as up-travel. Adjust your control arms to center your wheel in the wheel well. Make sure your brakes are beefed up.

Without the arched MC’s you’d need the normal 4” suspension lift with a 1” body lift.
