Looking at a TJ Rubicon - Thoughts?

I tried messing with the person and saying I would be in Oklahoma but they said send the payment first...such a scam.

Correct, I do have my 2005 LJ, but I am looking for another TJ or LJ. Would like to use initially as a snow plow jeep, and take advantage of the new tax reform, and then have some fun with it in a couple years.

I like messing with those scammers as well sometimes too. It's fun if you can get them to play games with you! I even had one send me the money order just to see how good of a fake it was. I have to say, you would have never been able to tell. It looked 100% legit.

Of course...I never mentioned what specs I was looking for, but I do appreciate you sending the link.

I am currently on the fence, either a cheaper TJ in the $5k range that needs some work but nothing major. As an example, if it needs new suspension parts that is good, a couple leaks is also good. New engine or tranny is not good. Also, a plow is a plus, but not mandatory.

Or I would consider a Rubi in the $12k - $15k and then convert my current LJ to the plow vehicle. I would pay more for the right vehicle, but it has to fit my specific needs and wants.

One caveat is that I will not pay a premium, I like seeking out people that are looking to sell quickly, with no bullcrap and for cash. When I see LJ Rubis priced in the $25k range there is no way I would even have a conversation with the Seller as I know the Seller is looking for max dollar and I'm not that kind of Buyer.

I am still messing with the Scammer. They told me the Jeep was in OKC so I looked up the OKC Thunder basketball schedule and saw they play the Charlotte Hornets next week. I told the Scammer I am from Carolina and my family is taking a trip next week to OKC, so I could meet up an pay her in cash. She replied with that she will only sell the Jeep through Ebay. See this pic. It's now my move but I dont know which direction to take this.

Sometimes it's fun to lead them along like this, because they end up getting really pissed off and frustrated that they spent so much time dealing with you only to have wasted their time.
