This LJ is a pretty good baseline for value. A largely unmolested non-Rubicon with low miles for 16k. The original MSRP on that was in the 24k range. Holds 2/3 of its original value after 13 years, not bad.

Stopped to look at it and it’s rough! Been rode hard and put up wet as they say. Underside is caked with mud, rear bumper is rough and the tranny or RMS has a major leak.

Come on. Mud can be cleaned off. The RMS isn't that tough to replace. And these powdercoated bumpers rarely keep their coat for more than a couple years before showing signs of issues (I've got 3 of them!).
Use those things to dicker them down in price. Get it cleaned up & the oil leak fixed & it'll be a fun rig.
