Normal, I know, but I want that inch back without cashing up for SYE, etc. (No intention of going higher, other than a 1" BL & MML soon). I found a cool idea on an old thread at another Jeep site and stole it....largely out of my incessant drive to constantly tinker & fabricate things.
Might be old news to you guys but maybe not, so here goes...
Bought a $30 trans mount bracket on eBay.
Cut the upper part off with a whiz wheel, and shortened the vertical sides by 1/2" (helps having a Bridgeport at work to get good level sides). Chamfered and welded back together. This shortened the height of the bracket by 1/2" so the TC will sit lower while still allowing the stock rubber mount. I'll have to tinker with the exhaust when the time comes but I'm sure I can make it fit. I believe, if my guesstimating is correct, that the MML combined with this low-profile mount should let me raise my TC back up as it should be, and give me good rear driveshaft alignment. Maybe the MML alone would have done the trick, but hey - I love fabricating stuff!

What size are those 4 bolts?

I am very interested in this as well.

I have been debating buying the undercover fab works extra clearance skid plate along with their low profile transmission mount to save a couple inches of ground clearance without having to do a full tummy tuck.

Instead of what you asked about, install a pair of 1" taller motor mount lifts like the 'Bombproof' mounts with rubber bushings sold by Mountain Offroad Equipment instead. They will completely eliminate the need for the tcase drop or the need to fabricate a different transmission mount.

This is a very high quality motor mount and due to its rubber bushings like the Mopar factory mounts use it won't cause drivetrain vibrations. https://mountainoffroad.com/collect...f-motor-mount-kit-for-1-lift-97-06-yj-tj-lj-1
