Our lower steering shaft appears to be in decent shape. U-Joint is tight with no play. Does anyone know if the support bushing thing is replaceable? This is for an 06 steering box, not the earlier style.

Was it @Boinked who just brought this up recently? I think so...
Anyhow, he had mentioned that he was looking at replacing his, and that bushing wasn't replaceable without buying a whole new shaft.
Hopefully I'm not confused here, I want to say that's what I read, but can't remember for sure. Maybe he'll chime in.

Easy work around, it’s just a mini stamped pillow block assy.

I haven't found anything either, so starting to think it isn't sold separate. But all the Borgenson shaft pics show it without it on, so was thinking maybe it was sold separately for that? Not obvious to me how it goes on and off even...
After searching and scratching my head not finding anything after market i decided to look up oem. Looks like it does not matter the model. But you should double check. I just put in 06 sport. $270 for the lower. The upper is the same across all years. (Strange) must be a different input spline on the gear box. When the changed them over.
