Guys I am completely stumped now. Motor is back in, plenum is sealed up and is not leaking, 135-140lbs of compression on all 8 cylinders, new plugs, no vacuum leaks, swapped out o2 sensors, tps, iac, map, iat, and crank speed sensors. Does the same with another pcm I got from Wildman. Engine will idle when I unplug the map sensor, or unplug the IAC when its open a lot at start up but surges a couple of times and dies otherwise. If I unplug the map sensor it will run in MAP fault mode and idle about 750-800rpm. The fuel pressure fluttered around between 42 and 47 when it was on the low side of a surge, then came back solid at 47 when the rpms come back up. So I replaced the fuel pump, now its the same but its 49 when its solid, still surges the same. I just don't know what to try next. I'm open to virtually anything at this point. Any other ideas guys?
