MML = new water pump

Im starting to lose my mind....... did my body lift and MML. Went inside for an adult beverage only to come back to antifreeze on the ground.
Thought at first maybe I cracked the reservoir but nope. It was comming from behind the harmonic balancer.

So the fan shroud was disconnected and never bound up. The engine never was started....... im i going crazy or should I just chalk it up to coincidence. That it stared leaking AFTER i was finished.

From where it's leaking I don't see how it could be anything other than coincidence.

What probably happened - is when you installed the MML it changed the angle of the engine just enough for some coolant to drip from a not tight enough hose clamp.

Did you move the fan blade front to back to front to double check for water pump bearing wear ?

Damn good call......
Just checked the backside of the upper hose had a streak of fluid. Just tightened it.
Didn't even think about that. Saved me a huge headache. I would have taken everything off before i looked there.
No water on the belt. It was slow enough it trickled down the back
