So awhile ago I purchased this https://www.extremeterrain.com/morryde-tailgate-reinforcement-kit-9706.html also known as exogate.

I just would prefer it to match the body rather than the black as it would be I think visually overwhelming for the back as my Jeep is white (my wheels are blackout). Theres about 6 parts to it so I'm leaning towards getting it blasted/PC'd by a shop as I think it'd be a lot of work to strip off the existing PC and rattle can body match it my self.

What do you guys think? I don't think the tailgate area would risk much rock damage to worry about having to do touchups.

By the time you get the wheel/tire back on there you aren't going to see much of the carrier, IMO.

Yeah, its sort of small but bothers me especially by the taillight. This is the customer pic on ET

I wouldn't personally but that's me. You are probably going to spend as much on a pro painting the pieces as the carrier itself.

You'd probably be better off having a paint shop strip and paint them rather than PC. Don't think PC will match perfectly.

Yeah I think it looks so much better matching the body color.

It probably depends how close PC can get to body, otherwise I'll just get it wet painted and touch it up as needed
