Mud stains on a soft top

I had some fun in the mud earlier this summer, but got lazy and didn't wash the Jeep for a while after. By the time I got around to it, there were still stains from the mud splatters in my soft top. I didn't think much of it at the time since I figured they would come out eventually, but it's mid-fall now and it still hasn't washed out from multiple washed and rains.

Anyone have some advice for this?

I hand washed it last time with one of those microfiber sponge brushes last time and no luck.

The bristles in a brush will work in the grain of the material.
Microfiber is way too soft to do anything other than paint or powdercoat.

My top was stained for close to a year when I decided to try the 303 stuff (unrelated to the mud). After a few uses all the stains were/are gone. And my top looks dark and brand new.

This stuff:

Follow the directions and as mentioned above, use a soft bristle brush. Just keep it off of the windows.
