I bought a stock 2003 Wrangler X last July and love it.
I added a Dirtworx front bumper and Warn M800
And, that was mostly it for last year. Was getting glared at by my wife every time UPS made a delivery, so I worked a bunch of OT over the winter, and saved up for a BDS 3" lift, adjustable front & rear BDS track bars, American Racing Baja Aluminum rims, and BFG Mud Terrains. Got it all installed earlier this spring; was my first lift kit install and I'm pleased with the way it came out. Despite spraying the rear, upper shock bolts with everything from WD-40, to Kroil, to Liquid Wrench, they all broke. Many thanks to Brent at Valley Truck and Off Road for welding in bar-pin eliminators. I also had to replace the front LCA's as the bolts were frozen in the bushing where it attaches to the front axel.
Looking forward to some fun times this spring and summer. Going to have to address the Dana 35 rear end, and 3.07 gears as well as some frame repairs this fall/winter. So far, my kids love riding in it, which makes it all worth while.
