The 44 doesn't need to be from an LJ to have 3.73 gears as some non LJs had them too

Sounds good, I will simply look for a Dana 44 with 3:73 gears. Is there another way to tell what the gearing is if the little tag on the diff is missing or too hard to read? Thanks.
