well at least the mopar radiator you guys recommended seemed to be a radiator when it showed up yesterday but it was a different vendor
I've had good luck with https://parts.moparonlineparts.com/. I've ordered a few things from them and received the correct part within a few days.

went to my local jeep dealer explained to him what happened and he said he could work with me on the price. the old part number was superseded by a new number so for $20 more i had it the next day but thanks for your tip ill keep it in mind
