i've got a 2002 X with 174k miles. recently, i have developed a squeal/squeak that only happens while moving.
Doesn't happen when I start it up. Once underway at 15mph and above, I hear a squeal/squeak that happens in 2, 3, 4 and 5th gear and while in neutral as long as the vehicle is rolling. when i come to a stop, the squeak/squeal stops.
after about 5 -10 minutes, the squeak/squeal goes away.
it sounds like a pulley or pulley bearings, but when i'm stopped with the hood up, it doesn't happen, so i can't pinpoint where the sound is coming from .
what can i do to pinpont and trouble shoot the problem?
