Need help diagnosing this engine knock

Almost sounds like an exhaust leak to me, which would be a fairly common issue with the 4.0 exhaust manifold.

It could be rod knock, but I would suspect an exhaust leak first. I'd also eliminate that first, as it's certainly cheaper and easier to fix!

It's usually the manifold itself that develops a crack in it. And all it takes is a very small crack too. It could be the downpipes as well, but it's usually the manifold more often than not.
