Need help identifying this possible ground connector or load resistor?

2000 4.0L manual. This part is on an engine block stud on the passenger side and it is forward of the dip stick mounting ground point and above the oil filter and camshaft position sensor. There is only 1 wire for this connector. I have attached photos. Thanks!

That is you ignition coil capacitor.

Interesting! Thank you! I am having some ignition issues. I am wondering if this can go bad. I noticed it after cleaning the area looking for an oil leak. I had separately been planning on replacing the coil pack and spark plugs.
