I recently removed and onboard welder that I had on my TJ as the alternator failed and it was expensive to fix. When going back to the stock two wire 5.2 L magnum alternator there is no plug on the harness as it was hooked through the welder. What I need help with is figuring out the wire colors for the two wire plug so I can try to track them down on the harness. I believe they were left unplugged or bypassed fully when they did the 5.2 magnum swap at the same time they installed the onboard welder. It’s a 2000 TJ with a 5.2 swap. Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

I have a Primier Power welder on mine and just built myself a new wiring harness while building a new engine my Jeep. The Dodge harness is different than the Jeep harness. Do you have an automatic or manual transmission? As this might help to figure out how the wiring harness was built in yours.
What went wrong with the welder alternator? I had to have mine rebuilt last year also and it cost me about $400.
You can get the FSM for you Jeep here:

Do you know what year engine or any other information on the stuff used in the swap?
You can get the FSM for your Dodge engine here:

If your TJ wiring is still in place here are the colors of the wires.
