Need some assistance on a 2004 TJ...

I am looking for some information regarding the automatic transmission lines on a 2004 Jeep TJ 4.0. The picture I have attached his taken of the rigid lines near the oil pan going toward the front of the engine on the driver side. I've labeled the upper rigid line number one and the lower rigid line number two. Could any of you tell me which one of these lines is the outgoing transmission fluid from the transmission to the intercooler on the radiator?? The other one of course is the return line back to the transmission. Anyone who can identify this would be greatly appreciated. Please see the attached photo.

The passenger-side line coming out of the radiator cooler is the return line to the transmission on 2003 and newer TJs with the 42RLE transmission.

I took the advice of someone owning a 2001 and this happened.
