So what seems random, a new noise is coming from my hardtop. I only say that because I can reach my hand up while driving and feel a vibration to some degree when the sound happens. The sound i'm getting is like when you have one window rolled down a little and you get that ear popping pressure type sound that usually goes away once you open a 2nd window. I'm getting that type of sound with all windows up now and when I hit about 65-70mph.

The only thing I can think of that it could be is the windshield header seal is not quite cutting it anymore. However it doesn't look like its in bad shape or anything, maybe flatter than it once was and is allowing some air to scoop in or lift the hardtop slightly...I could post pics if anyone would like to help me verify if anything looks off that i'm not seeing there.

Has anyone experienced this noise i'm describing with their TJ's hardtop at all, or have any other suggestions on anything to check?

I had the same issue, I ended up cutting some sheet metal shim's, folded them and installed where the two clamps are. Since the clamps aren't adjustable. Worked great

That allows you put a little more tension on the clamps then right? It sealed it up and eliminated the sound completely or minimized it? Good idea though man, something like that crossed my mind too, I just didn't know what to try and jam in there. Totally giving this a try!
