Hello everyone,
New member here from Sharpsburg GA. Just bought my first Jeep (2001 4cyl 5 speed) and have a question for you. The jeep was rebuilt (dont have much history on it) and none of the gauges work. The radio, A/C, Heat, Blinkers, Dome light and everything else seems to work fine. I did the gauge check (hold the trip button down and turn to start) and all the gauges seem to work correctly. I even pulled the cluster and cleaned the pins...no luck. I know that the jeep has a different ECM (from the rebuild) but the Jeep seems to run OK, (just has a #3 injector open circuit fail).

So, any ideas?

Thanks

Do you know what year the ECU came from? If it was 97- 2000 it won't work with 01-06 gauge clusters.

Hi kevin,
I don't want to sound stupid or demeaning in anyway to anyone but a lot of the times I had problems they were usually basic and simple to solve. I have a 1998 TJ Wrangler and in my fuse panel there is a 10 amp fuse occupying position #10 for the instrument cluster.I will assume you have already checked this but if not take a look there. If that fuse is good then you will need the advice of the more experienced members of this forum. Good luck with solving this problem and sooner or later one of these great members will steer you in the right direction. Try to stay positive and remember there is no problem that can't be solved.
