Always keep some dry power.
I thought to myself a few months ago I’d really like to do a regear in my Rubicon. Honestly it’s not terrible with the 4:10’s 33”s and the 6 spd but I knew it could benefit from a regear. Especially since I’ve been buying parts over the past year to go 34 or 35 inch tires. I knew exactly what I wanted having gone down this road before but I knew the chance of finding the exact combination was a shot in the dark. Well I decided to hop on the ole FB marketplace. I blew it off at first glance thinking na no way. But no, it was exactly what I was looking for plus extra. I found a pair of Rubicon axles with 4:88 gears, RCV axles and the stock locker up front. Out back the stock locker was replaced with an ARB unit and Ten Factory chromoly shafts. And for the bonus round a pair of what appear to be ECGS diff covers and a dual piston caliper setup on the front axle. I reached out to Mr. Blaine with help on the brake ID. They are not perfect and will need to be cleaned up and gone through but I still should wind up on top.

That took a bunch more staring at it than I would have liked. Might have helped if I had ever seen one before.
