Hi everyone! Recently purchased an 05 TJ. First one I’ve ever owned. Has the inline 6 and auto trans. Just got it back from getting a 2 1/2” Rough Country lift installed and new tires all around. Looking forward to interacting within these forums while I build this Jeep into “my idea” of a proper trail vehicle.

Welcome. Love the “Grizzly” wheels. Not a fan of the shocks you got with the kit, but love the more aggressive look with the lift installed.

Thanks! Rides great so far on the 45 minute drive home from the suspension shop. Got a few more “to-do’s” on it before I get it out on the trails for the first time.

"Money Pit" you got that right!
Do you plan to paint the side fenders? It will look good with a new rock slider. By the way, your front bumper needs some upgrade as well. Okay, wait, how about some decals he-heh.

Thinking of going with tubulars on the front one day. Rock sliders, for sure. Got my eye on a winch bumper for the front and a better bumper for the rear. Not going to go too crazy with it, as it’ll spend a lot of time getting towed behind an RV. Focusing on getting the drivetrain solid at the moment. This thing was a basket case when I bought it. Needs a lot of TLC. Lift kit and tires were the first few steps. Decals are on the “future purchase” list!

Good luck!.. keep us posted
