NH Oil Undercoating

I know a guy from Vermont that gets his older ford pickup undercoated with oil every fall... looks brand new! Not sure if this is what your asking bug thought I'd through it out.

Never heard of it... I'm located in NH. I will check it out when im back from vacation. We always used heated bar and chain oil with a pump sprayer...

In Vermont we used to have our rigs grease undercoated at the garage, it helped considerably I then started spraying bar and chain oil slightly diluted with kerosene instead. Worked great. Used a suction sand blaster for spraying the oil. May have bee about a 90/10 mix. My .02¢

NH undercoating kicks ass. The stuff doesn't come off like fluid film does over time.

I've seen 20+ year old work trucks that look brand new underneath due to oil undercoating.

I think it should be the first thing someone does to a Jeep.

Having undercoated hundreds of cars over the years, my first comment is that anything is better than nothing. Living up in the Ontario rust belt, I have seen first hand the benefits of oil based undercoating. Having owned a body shop, I was always busy in the fall undercoating vehicles. I have tried everything from used oil, to my own mix of new oil-tranny fluids-wd40. I finally settled on “fluid film” as my go to undercoating. Bear in mind that although anything is better than nothing, a product is only as good as the person applying it. Up in these parts it is an applied annually. Cheapest bodywork you will ever do.

This product looks good. Am considering this for inside frame.
