so i was driving my wife's daily driver. a 07 ford fusion. bought it new i am the only one that has worked on this car. ( excluding minor things while i was deployed ) So i started hearing a poping/clunking from the drivers side. so my mind was racing. was it a ball joint,control arm, strut, wheel baring. so i drove it carefully back home getting worse the whole time. pulled the wheel and found the caliper half off with no bolts. I have not had that tire off in over a year. ( Costco does my rotations so i don't count that. ) I cant believe it would have lasted a year with missing bolt so i had to have put them on. Has anyone else seen this happen? In all my time working on cars i have never hear ed or seen this.
