NSG370 6-speed transmission is making a roaring noise

So my Rubicon 06 6 speed transmission is roaring. It almost sounds like tire noise but it's not. Only when it's in gear and power is being applied do you here the roaring noise. I push in the clutch or put it in neutral and there is no noise. It's not engine noise, not diff noise or tire. Definitely trans
Any idea guys?

Oil is at the pug. Stuck my fingers in and its maybe just below but its full

I‘ve got the same transmission. When in gear, applying power and clutch out my noise happens to be like nails on a chalkboard. Seems to be at speeds over 40. if it were not for the noise, I’d think everything is fine. What’s your thoughts on the issue? If a rebuild, how much $ is that going to be?

You really need to post a vid! Gearbox in an 06 TJ is a Dog at the best of times!
