I'm removing an approximately 3" puck lift on my 99 and replacing it with a savvy 4" with double adjustable control arms. The front axle is a HP30 with an Iron Rock truss. I disconnected the front driveline, shocks, track bar, and drag link and installed all 4 control arms the same length as the Core arms that I tool out. I raised the axle one side at a time to confirm the bump stops were centered front to back. Then I pulled the lower CA on the driver's side and lowered the axle to install the new spring. It was sketchy! The angle is pretty severe and made it difficult to attach the lower bump stop. I raise the axle and put the lower control arm back, the did the same procedure on the passenger side. Now for the fun part. The spring went in almost vertical and and had a couple inches clearance when installed. I didn't have to pry it into place like the drivers side. Any thoughts on why there is such a drastic difference?
