OE fog lights not working

I just noticed today that my OE fog lights on my '06 TJ aren't working. I've only owned the vehicle since November, but I know that they have worked recently. I checked the fuse, which is still good and the bulbs are also good. I also don't get the fog light indication on my dash when I turn them on.
Looking at the owner's manual and the maintenance .pdf, they show a fog lamp relay in the power distribution center. But, my vehicle does not have a relay in the slot that is shown in the manuals. Am I missing something here, because I know they worked as recently as a few weeks ago. Could the relay have been deleted in the '06 TJs, but still show it in the maintenance manuals?
I figure more than likely the multifunction switch is malfunctioning, but I'm curious why there isn't a relay in the PDC.
Do any of the '06 owners out there know if they have a fog light relay in the PDC?

Chris - yeah, I saw that forum post when I was researching my issue. I will probably go ahead and replace the switch. I am curious though, why my jeep doesn't have a relay in the slot designated for the fog light relay.

Well, I changed the multi-function switch (~$74 at auto zone), still no worky! As I said there is no fog light relay in the PDC, and I don't think there ever was one. The fuse is good and bulbs are good. I'm not getting 12v at the bulbs or the fuse. So, I started tracing wires..which brought back memories of tracing wires on the F/A-18s... and I find a weird connector on the passenger side firewall, then those wires lead to the cockpit next to the main wire bundle. Upon further inspection of the weird connector, which is half hidden behind the battery and other cables, it turns out to be a relay. WTH, why is my fog light relay attached to the firewall? I'm guessing the relay is bad since the terminals that are supposed to be normally closed aren't closed. I checked and I'm getting 12V on pin 30 on the relay connector, so I jumpered pin 30 to pin 87A (as per the fog light diagram in the service manual) and voila the fog lights come on.

Well, now it's time to order a new 4638271 relay.

Hopefully the relay fixes it! I would have thought it would have ended up being the multi-function switch.
