Oil Change Madness

So, I finally got a Mityvac to change the oil in my wifes car. BMW 328d M Sport. That's a diesel btw. Anyway,
After 50,000 miles on the car, its no more dealer oil changes. Because... The machine sucked out 7.4 liters of oil. 7.4 liters.... The kicker is the oil capacity of our BMW N47 diesel is...
5.2 liters.
And the automated oil check in the cars computer didn't say. "Overfull"! It just says Max.

I'm pissed.

One would think that the high end dealerships would employ highly trained mechanics.

So, I'm going to piss on my next "free" oil change on my Dodge Challenger as well and do it myself.

Lol.

The thought crossed my mind. It didn't smell like diesel. And I love the smell of diesel! That smell got permanently imbeded in my head in the 70's with a Kubota tractor.
