Working on an XJ and encountered the lively situation where the computer is expecting a 3 wire pressure sensor but the harness is apparently a crossover from a prior year that only had a 2 wire sensor (and the OEM computer died, junkyard PCM is from a later 98).
Anyway, before I hack on the wiring to address the issue, I wanted to verify oil pressure after the engine swap we were doing. Parts stores had them available borrow, so I found this one on Amazon for $22. Will be trying it out tonight. Has tons of fittings & came in a nice case, so im cautiously optimistic.
Bonus points for not even trying to give instructions for pressure testing a transmission.
