Has anyone had a oil pump whine? I had serviced this jeep new to us 98k miles. After cap and rotar replacement I got a whine after getting above city speed limit then it ll stay and here and there the sound would cut out. Grabbed the distributor and was lightly snug but made a sound difference. So replaced the distributor from car parts.com. made it one whole day no sound then back exactly the same.
Im wondering if any one has had a oil pump while steadily or is it my luck of the draw that I got another distributor bearing issue. Any info helps
