Ongoing Brake Issues... arrrgg!

Changed/replaced out the new Hawk Pads, new Centric Rotors, new Centric Calipers and bleed the brakes, but still have issues the with car pulling to the left when braking. Then after the driver side heats up and start to fade, the jeep pulls to the right...

Never had issues like this before in all the years I have done brakes; and I have done alot...

Any advice?

How are the rears? Are you disc or drum brakes in the rear?

Drums; rebuilt the rears with B-magic shoes, Centric cylinders and all new hardware kit, bled and adjusted...

I thought that was the initial problem to the fronts over heating.... I felt a lot of forward lean when braking before I changed the rear; more balanced in the front-to-rear, just pulls now...

When you are bleeding each caliper are you getting good flow from each?

Yes; clear solid flow, no air, no foam...

Sounds like you've done everything right. You made sure the bleeder screws on the front calipers are on the bottom? Assuming so, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get the air out of the system. Defective caliper is all I can think of at this juncture. Could you have a spongy brake hose causing it?

X2. The bleeder screws have to be at the top so air trapped in the top of the caliper can get out.

Edited to add: The bleeders go on top for drum brake cylinders as well.

Not curious. I was hoping that @bobthetj03 would look at what he wrote and go "whoops!?".

Edited to add: Ask our illustrious Administrator, @Chris, about this one. Luckily, he's not the only one to get schooled about brake bleeder orientation. It's a common issue.

Could you have a bad/collapsed/pinched brake line not letting that particular caliper to release fully?

Yes, bleeder valve at the highest point/ on top...

Yes, flushed out old brake fluid; by letting it self drain from the brake line when disconnected from the caliper...

Pedal not spongy, actually feels solid..

No noticeable kinks in the line/hose...

That's why this is driving me crazy!! I thought I did everything right, but still get the brake pull to the left...

It's curious that all those new parts didn't change the way the brakes were acting.

Could it be the proportioning valve? I believe it only moderates front to rear, not each wheel, but maybe some contaminants got caught in the valve?? Just throwing sh$t out there:nusenuse:
