2005 Rubicon I have owned since 2011. 130k. I have had no major issues since I've owned it, until the last few months. It started with cel's for the cats and O2 sensors. Gas mileage dropped noticably. Replaced the O2 sensors, was running better. While I was sourcing replacement cats, I had my first stall, it just shut off after 5 mins of driving. It has never failed to start, always starts as fast as it usual. Replaced precats/main. Cel for cats disappeared. I have had NO codes since then, a few months ago.

My gas mileage, however, has been very bad and it runs a little rough sometimes. Last time I changed the oil, I noticed the oil smelled like gas, figured leaky injectors. Yesterday I changed them out with new Mopar injectors. It ran better than it has in months, smooth idle, quiet, seemed like that had fixed my problems. Today I drove it home from work, pulled in the driveway, it stalled.

Am I missing something, or is the computer going?

@phacor8 is your Jeep a manual? Two telltale signs of a faulty manual Pcm are stalling while driving and all o2 sensors showing bad when good.

Manual, 6 speed. The O2 sensors were old the first time I got the cel, so I'm not sure that would have been unreasonable. The sudden cut out/stalling twice is not reasonable. When it cut out for the second time yesterday it seems that it reset the ecm, all of my emissions statuses went to not ready. It started back up after a couple of minutes.

Not sure where to go from here

So I attempted to drive to work this morning, about a mile from house it shuts off. Seems to be happening while idling, guages freeze where they are for a minute before going back to zero. Took about 10 minutes before I could get it to crank and start, made it back home and parked it. No codes, just stops running. Thoughts?

I have an '06 automatic and was having some of the same things. O2 sensors and it would stall at idle. Plus some issues with the auto transmission. Went down a rabbit hole chasing things and then I spoke with Mark at Wranglerfix.com, replaced the PCM and it's been working perfect every since. Known problem on the '05-'06 Jeeps. I would definitely call Mark on that one.

Got it, I'll make the call.
