Pitman Arm Nut Thread Size and Pitch

I've replaced my pittman arm and will replace the nut and lock washer while I'm at it. What is the correct sector shaft thread size and pitch? And, is using a grade 8 nut necessary? Seems like a good idea since it get torqued to 185 but some I see online look to be zinc plated and none say what grade they are selling.

My nut on the steering gear was 7/8-14. I purchased it off rock auto when I bought the steering box. I don’t know the grade of it though.
