Here is one that will help any homeowner-
Boric Acid powder is economical and extremely effective against termites, ants, carpenter ants, cockroaches, silverfish and many forms of mold and fungus that decay wood.
If you put one teaspoon in 8oz. of warm water, the liquid will penetrate wood, masonry and soil, and lasts for decades-
If you mix it stronger it actually will kill the termite before he gets back to the colony and spreads it.
Use common sense, and it is safe and extremely powerful.
We use it in footings, block cavities, crawlspaces and on band/rim joists during renovations.
Seems it is pet safe when dry, and cost pennies.
In Alabama, we can’t charge for the service, because we aren’t a licensed exterminator- so we do it for free- just for the good will it creates....And to say that we do something that our competitors don’t.
The formula is 2 teaspoonfuls per 8 oz of water heated over 160 degrees.
