Quadratec aux lighting wiring harness issues

Has anyone installed the quadratec auxiliary light harness kit? I am in the middle of adding some a-pillar lights and am stuck at the point where it asks you to connect the tap harness in-line with the vehicle power outlet harness. Does anyone have any experience to wear this is located on an 05 TJ? Maybe some pics?

If it's the thing I circled I'd guess it plugs into the back of the cigarette lighter

Thanks for your help! I am a new Wrangler owner and know nothing about wiring. Yes, it is that part you circled. How do I gain access to the back of that?

This'll get the dash panels off but instead of removing the stereo, take the bottom screws out holding the power outlets in. Then it's just pinch the plug and remove. But as a precaution make sure you've disconnected the neg battery post.
