Question about wheel and tire setup

I have a 2004 LJ that has 35's and 17" JK wheels with spacers on it (Previous owner installed) I'd like to get rid of them and the spacers and upgrade to better looking wheels. This combination of tires/wheels rub on the front sway bar and increase the turning radius. I'm not familiar with wheel offset, etc. Anyone have ideas?

You'll need a 5" lift to run those 35s properly and you'll want some wheels with roughly 3.75" of backspacing. Without that setup you're going to lose up-travel in your shocks (very bad) and you'll lose some turning from your turning radius.

JK wheels need a 2" adaptor spacer to create an effective 4" backspacing. This is a nice amount of backspacing for 35s to not disrupt the steering axis inclination more than is necessary.

Unpack that and you will understand what is going on.
