Sorry if this is a stupid question, but "my" Jeep is a manual transmission (JK) any my wife's is a (new to us) LJ with an automatic transmission.
When manually putting the automatic In the "1" position I know that it locks it in 1st gear.. But when putting it "2" - does that lock it into 2nd even when coming to a stop? Or does it still downshift into 1st, but limit it to 1st and 2nd only?
