We’re currently installing the Black Magic Vanco 15”/16” Big Brake Kit on the LJ and I was wondering if it’s typical to need to clearance the dust shield a bit to clear the caliper saddle bolt when installed at the inner position for 15” rims or if we did something incorrectly? Pics included for clarification. I zoomed in on the second one with the saddle partially installed to show where it runs into the brake shield and doesn’t quite clear to line up the bolt hole.

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to wrapping it up and seeing what a difference it makes. There was a huge improvement just by switching to the Black Magic rotors and pads, I’m guessing I’ll be blown away by the BBK and rest a little easier knowing my 16yo son has top notch braking power.

I definitely remember using my tinsnips to trim the shield. I don't recall exactly where but likely the same location
Great! We'll break out the tin snips in the AM. Thank you for replying. I appreciate it.
